Fire & Smoke Damage Mitigation & Clean Up
Fire and smoke quickly destroy property to an extent that not much else can. It can put the structural safety of your home or commercial property in question and obliterate documents, pictures, and other important items. Besides the burden of having to deal with the aftermath of a property fire, there is also an intensely stressful, emotional aspect of the restoration process. The Flood Guys understand that you and your loved ones are going through a difficult time. You can trust that we will provide caring, immediate services to your home. The process for fire damage restoration doesn’t need to be as devastating as the fire itself. Damage to homes across the state can originate from fires or smoke in addition to the water used to put them out. Houses in the Pacific Northwest area aren’t any different. Here in Washington, distress to houses caused by kitchen fires, accidental fires and electrical fires is common, but we can restore any damage, regardless of what its origin was. We can assist you in turning back the clock on your damaged property, transforming your home to its original state.
Mold Abatement and Remediation
According to the IICRC, “Both mold and mildew can signal that there are serious problems in the home regarding excess moisture, and if they aren’t eliminated right away, the contamination may spread. Contamination is a common problem in humid areas, but it can emerge in any building where there are moisture infiltration issues or plumbing concerns.”
Mold contamination is a proven serious health risk. Immediate mold removal is key. Maintaining your home and protecting your family from avoidable disease are two good reasons to assess the potential impact of mold in your home. Many families wait until toxic mold contamination is very high before acting to correct this problem. If the home or building has had current or past water damage, particularly to building materials, a microbial investigation is warranted.
